Apple has released two Release Candidate versions of iOS 18.2 and MacOS 15.2, with the general public release being imminent now. There are few changes in this final release as compared to the previous developer beta versions, but I cover the few differences in this post.
Image Playground
You can now use Image Playground in Apple’s Freeform application in addition to Messages which was possible before. Third party applications can also use Image Playground through the API.
ChatGPT Integration
In previous betas, asking ChatGPT - within Writing Tools - to generate images sometimes failed, it now works properly.
